Budgeting for WinMENTOR in 2026: licences, implementation and subscriptions, with numbers

The question we hear most often: “what does WinMENTOR actually cost me?”. The short answer: licence prices are public, set by the producer and identical at every distributor. What differs between distributors are the services: how many implementation hours, what support costs, what the package includes. Below you will find the producer’s list, what it includes, what is paid separately, and four budgets worked out on real configurations. All amounts are in EUR, excluding VAT, payable in RON at the BNR rate on the day of payment.

1. The base licence: Standard or Extins, single workstation or network

WinMENTOR CLASSIC comes in two editions. Standard covers bookkeeping and quantity-value inventory. Extins adds new reports, automatic discounts, serial numbers and expiry dates, and is the only edition that runs the production, advanced commercial or fleet modules. For most companies we recommend Extins; the price difference pays for itself in the first month.

The price per user falls with every seat added. The HASP protection key (single, NET10 or NET50) is included free in standard configurations.

2. Additional modules

Modules are paid once, at the producer’s list price. Those marked Extins run only under the Extins edition.

Modules priced per unit: Online Stock & Orders €149/location, WM Admin €199/location, DOC-IMP-SERVER €599/location, Restaurant €399/workstation, Car Service €399/workstation, WM EDI €449/installation, Couriers €449/installation, Tax Returns €49/workstation per year.

3. ANAF compliance: e-Invoicing, e-Transport, SAF-T

Each ANAF service has a licence (one-off) and an annual update subscription, both at the producer’s price. Their implementation is not included in the licence; we do it and bill it by the hour, at €45/hour.

The hours are for a typical company with clean master data. For SAF-T, where the chart-of-accounts mappings and document types must be checked, we have had implementations of 8 hours and of 20. We tell you upfront, after a short audit, where you fall.

4. What the list price includes and what it does not

At the start of the contract the producer includes in the licence price: full application configuration (constants, chart of accounts, user access rights), technical assistance during implementation and operator training. Also free after the sale: analysis when the configuration is extended, hardware and software advice and access to new versions.

Paid separately, through the distributor: phone support (Monday–Friday, 9–17), installation of new versions on request, database checks and optimisation, training of new staff, plus the implementation of the ANAF services from section 3.

At L&E, the full implementation (audit, data migration from SAGA or another program, role-based training, accompanied go-live) and monthly support are quoted after a free audit, within 24 hours. The final quote may also carry commercial terms, for instance for full upfront payment or for CECCAR members; we discuss them directly, on your configuration.

5. Four worked budgets

The figures below are calculated from the list above. “First year” adds licences, ANAF service implementation and subscriptions; from the second year only the subscriptions remain.

Small company, one workstation: Extins single + Fixed Assets + Payroll + e-Invoicing + SAF-T.

Company with 3 network users: Extins + Commercial + Fixed Assets + Payroll + e-Invoicing + e-Transport + SAF-T.

The economy option: Standard single + e-Invoicing, for a company with simple bookkeeping.

Distributor with 8 users: Extins + Commercial + Fixed Assets + Payroll + e-Invoicing + e-Transport + SAF-T.

6. WinMENTOR ENTERPRISE

For companies with dozens of concurrent users, many warehouses or high document volumes, the producer offers WinMENTOR ENTERPRISE (WME), on an Oracle or PostgreSQL database. It has no public price list: quotes are made on request, per configuration. We are a producer-listed WME distributor for Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj and can help with the quote and with migration from CLASSIC.

In short

• WinMENTOR CLASSIC licences have public prices, identical at every distributor: from €416 (Standard, one workstation) or €595 (Extins).
• ANAF services are paid separately: licence + annual subscription + implementation (with us €45/hour, 5/3/10 hours estimated).
• The producer includes basic configuration and operator training in the price; support and later services are paid through the distributor.
• A small company starts at roughly €800–2,000 in the first year; one with 3 users and all ANAF services at roughly €4,300.
